Queer Allyship

Consider this event an action plan for allies, exploring how non-LGBTQ folks can show up for Queer liberation. Big topic right? We love a big topic. 

Allies have a significant role to play in creating an LGBTQ and queer affirming workplace. Whether it’s through advocacy, practical action, or by being a safe and understanding colleague, allies can make a real difference towards LGBTQ and queer inclusion. Often, allies can be left unsure of how to best show up, and uncertain of when and how their support might be welcome. 

This conversation will talk about the complexities of ally-ship, and will invite us into some shared brainstorming around how allies can be most effective in a workplace context.
